Man kills wife and two children before throwing himself out a window in Ciudad Real

A MAN has apparently killed his wife and two children before throwing himself out of a window in Ciudad Real.

Manuel Jose Garcia Bustamante, a council worker, was well known in the Campo de Criptana village and residents have said they “were a normal family, we can’t begin to understand why this happened.”

The 47-year-old allegedly strangled his wife, Ana Maria Rosado, and smothered his two children, aged five and eight, before committing suicide by jumping out of a second-storey balcony.

Police believe it is a case of domestic violence, but have not discarded other hypotheses.
