Two arrested in Malaga for sharing ‘intimate’ videos online without consent

POLICE have arrested two people, in separate cases, over their alleged involvement in sharing videos and images of an intimate nature on social media.

In the first case, a 27-year-old man was arrested for sending videos of him having sex with his ex-partner to family members via the instant messaging service WhatsApp.

The second led to the arrest of a 37-year-old woman who, upon discovering erotic images of another woman on her partner’s phone, uploaded the pictures on to Facebook.

Both alleged perpetrators face charges for breaking privacy laws.

While the original images were taken on the correct terms, the subsequent sharing of said video and image were done without the consent of all parties involved, according to police.
