A STUDENT has died at Malaga University after suffering a heart attack during a lecture.
A fellow marketing undergraduate performed CPR on the 27 year-old from Ciudad Real while emergency services were on route, but she died after arriving at the Hospital Clinico.
Many students have criticised the ambulance which took 20 minutes to arrive at the scene, while emergency services claim it took them just 12 minutes.
The university has since announced it will install defibrillators in every lecture hall, although basic training will be required.
