Snow and strong winds forecast across Spain as temperatures set to drop

AEMET has issued weather alerts for strong winds and snow for a number of regions across Spain.

Almeria is among the areas with yellow alerts for snow and strong winds causing three metre waves as well as Huesca, Cantabria, Lleida, Leon and Zamora.

Galicia is set to get the worst of the weather, with an estimated five centimetres of snow to fall all over the region, with more in high altitude areas.
