WITH the summer approaching, a large number of music festivals are being announced, running from Gibraltar all the way up to Benicassim with a whole range of different artists of all types visiting Spain.

The very popular FIB festival in Benicassim has just revealed that new acts named to join established bands such as headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers will include enigmatic and always masked DJ Deadmau5, together with grime star Stormzy, plus Libertines frontman the often eccentric Pete Doherty as well as a number of Spanish bands.

Running from July 13 to July 16 tickets, which include free space for camping, cost €149.

Also just announced as appearing at the September MTV Presents Gibraltar Calling music festival is Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook), the iconic DJ and former Housemartin.
