Mijas meeting in English will advise on driving licences and residence certificates

THE Mijas Foreigners Department is organising an informative talk in collaboration with the Colegio Oficial de Gestores Administrativos de Malaga and the National Police Office in Fuengirola on Friday March 17 at 12 noon in the conference hall of the council offices in La Cala de Mijas.

The talk will be carried out in English by experts from the Colegio Oficial de Gestores Administrativos who will be talking about procedures needed to be followed at the Malaga Traffic Department which include the registration and exchange of EU driving licences as well as importation of vehicles from inside or outside the EEC

The second part of the presentation will be conducted by officers from the National Police in Fuengirola and will explain the situation with regards to residence certificates for EU citizens for first applications and renewals as well as NIE numbers.

Anette Skou, head of the Mijas Foreigners Department said in connection with this event, “We hold different informative talks throughout the year for our visitors and residents in different languages, where experts can give information and answer their queries; collaborations like these are very positive for our citizens”.

Roy Perez councillor of the Mijas Foreigners Department added “These types of collaborations are very important and in this way we can offer totally updated information on these issues.”

The talk is free of charge and the participants will be offered a free drink and tapa at the end of the event courtesy of Colegio Oficial de Gestores Administrativos de Málaga.
