SEVEN people have been arrested in an operation by Spain’s National Police for crimes relating to prostitution, sexual exploitation and corruption of minors.

They also released the child, aged 16, whose virginity was being  offered on a website for 5,000 euros.

The group was operating a prostitution ring that was offering “high-class sex” services.

Two raids were made in Marbella and Estepona and those arrested included telephone operators to manage appointments with clients, taxi drivers who ferried women to hotels or homes and a company specialised in placing in the group’s webpages in the top positions of search engines.

The investigation, which began as a result of an anonymous email, was conduction under the National Police’s fight against trafficking in human beings for sexual exploitation, launched in 2013.

The 900 10 50 90 hotline and email address correo trata@policia.es facilitate the anonymous and confidential reporting of this type of crime.
