A MAN was arrested in connection with the shooting of two dogs in Sevilla.
The dogs, a podenco and a waterdog, were being walked by a foster carer in a field when the accused fired two shots – one narrowly missing the walker – and later fled the scene in a truck.
The 69-year-old’s Bormujo house was later raided by Guardia Civil, where they found both a truck matching the description, and a shotgun which matched the shells found at the scene.
Spanish media outlets have said the reason behind the shootings was ‘for fun’ as there were no rabbits in the area to hunt.
