THE Guardia Civil have found a hideout which was possibly used by the terrorist group ETA in Irun, Basque Country.
The site contained seven drums of explosive material, although there is no evidence of recent activity, said the Spanish Home Office.
Investigators are considering the possibility that it had been used by ETA to supply materials to a command that was located in the Irun area.
The discovery is the result of an investigation into unsolved terrorist cases.
A Guardia Civil bomb disposal team confirmed that the cache contained around 60 kilos of explosives and is not ruling out the possibility of the existence of other deposits in the surrounding areas.
