Cheeky Chileans suspected of 100 burglaries arrested in Ricla

PART of the town of Ricla, Zaragoza was sealed to the public as armed officers of the National Police broke into an apartment and arrested three Chileans (two men and a woman all aged 24) suspected of committing more than 100 burglaries.

Investigations commenced when it was discovered that there were a spate of burglaries starting in January of this year, all of which followed similar patterns whereby properties were broken into with huge amounts of jewellery, watches and cash being stolen.

The heavily pregnant female drove the two men to the scenes of their crimes and acted as a lookout whilst they actually broke into the properties and carried out the thefts.

Following the raid, the officers discovered 125 rings, 120 bracelets, 115 pendants, 80 pairs of earrings, 50 watches, 50 designer bags as well as expensive clothing and €30,000 in cash.
