King Felipe VI visits Malaga’s Transfiere Forum

KING FELIPE VI opened the sixth Transfiere Forum in Malaga on Wednesday (February 15).

The science fair pools together innovative research from all over Spain and presents it to a variety of different sectors for the whole of Europe.

During his speech the King described it as a “magnificent” event and a shining example of “the best collaboration between public and private sectors for innovation.”

Later he added: “Malaga has made dynamism its aim, and has for some time now placed itself among the forerunners of innovation in many sectors.”

He said innovation was important to propel Spain into the future and he thanked the country’s universities for their role in research.

The monarch later toured the exhibition hall to have a look at the numerous projects on display.

Once the event had ended, the King was given a closed tour of the Malaga Museum which has more than 15,000 pieces.
