Following the great success of the first Death Café Costa Blanca in November 2016 and in response to many requests, another event is being organised.
Harry’s Bar, Ave Costa Azul, Quesada, is the venue for the event on January 31 from 3–5pm.
The concept involves an attempt to undermine one of the last great taboos in today’s society.
Over coffee and cake people can talk about death and what it will mean for those left behind.
Being well-informed and aware of the procedure and choices you have here in Spain can really help when the time comes. This is an informative discussion group, exchanging thoughts, ideas, wishes, and experiences. It will be followed by a question and answer session with the experts and professionals from GRUPO ASV.
It is an opportunity to dispel some of the myths about the differences here in Spain to a funeral in the UK.
Many people who attended the last Café said that it had really made them stop and think about how they could plan and prepare to lessen the pain for loved ones. They were reassured to meet the professionals and get answers first-hand to quell any uncertainties.
No selling takes place just lots of information to glean.
Places are limited so please contact us to register your interest to attend via Facebook Death Café Costa Blanca/ email: [email protected] gmail.com / Tel 672 806 098 or pop into Harry’s Bar.
The Death Cafe event is hosted by Denise Washbourne (Civil Funeral Celebrant) and is sponsored by GRUPO ASV Funeral Services. http://www.grupoasvserviciosfunerarios.com/en/
