More than 1,000 people take Christmas ‘mannequin challenge’ in Torremolinos

TORREMOLINOS has been getting into the festive spirit in the most fashionable way possible, after the town hall organised a huge mannequin challenge in Plaza Costa del Sol.

The cheeky council requested that citizens remain absolutely still for one minute straight after the municipal Christmas lights had been switched on, and they filmed the whole thing.

The request also suggested that participants should choose “the most fun or ingenious position possible,” with instructions being barked through a loudspeaker just prior to the magic moment, while some forward-thinkers even brought props to boost the impression that time had stopped.
