Airline pilot suffers heart attack as jet prepares for take-off

The pilot of a KLM jet suffered a heart attack as taxied the aircraft to the runway at Glasgow Airport ready for take-off.
Nearly 130 people were on board the flight which was bound for Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
In a statement, KLM said flight crew helped resuscitate the pilot with the help of a passenger and the co-pilot then returned the aircraft to the main airport complex.
The pilot was taken to the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank following the incident on Friday and is said to be in a “stable condition.”
The flight was cancelled and passengers were then re-booked.
