Kayley Mifsud
IN PREPARATION for her journey in late November to America to take part in the Miss World 2016 finals, 23-year-old Miss Gibraltar Kayley Mifsud tried on her National Costume which she may well wear at the finals.
This year, the 66th Miss World competition will be held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, just south of the city of Washington DC on December 18 and as yet, no announcement has been made as to whether President elect Trump will be making a friendly visit to speak to the 118 competitors.
Luckily the former Spanish Foreign Minister Margallo is no longer in government as if Kayley emulates her 2009 predecessor Kaiane Aldorino and was declared Miss World 2016, there could have been a serious diplomatic incident as the current Miss World Mireia Lalaguna from Spain would be expected to place the crown on her head.
