Justin Bieber punches fan in the face in Barcelona

JUSTIN BIEBER is not exactly known for being sweet and demure, but the pop superstar may have outdone himself this time by punching a fan in the face.

Footage shows Bieber arriving at the Palau Sant Jordi Stadium in Barcelona prior to his concert on November 22. In the video, the singer is seated in the back of a car which is being driven by a chauffeur. Rabid fans quickly begin to swarm the vehicle as it moves along slowly, with many Beliebers hoping to make contact with their own Personal Jesus. However, when one fan reaches out to touch faith, he instead receives a hardy smack in the face from his idol. 

In the video, the man appears to be in a state of shock. He stares dazed after the car as it rolls away, before turning to face the camera and revealing that his lip is bleeding. Some nearby girls stop by to comfort the young man in his time of need, before he spits out blood and raises a  hand up to his mouth. His face is then contorted into an enraged mask of fury as he becomes aware of the cruel fate that has befallen him.

Belligerent behaviour is nothing new to the Biebs. In recent years he has made headlines for owning a pet monkey, posting controversial photos online, and even engaging in physical altercations with other celebs. One of the most famous of these incidents occurred in 2014 when Bieber nearly came to fisticuffs with Orlando Bloom in an Ibiza restaurant. Bloom had been dining with Leonardo Dicaprio when the two of them had been approached by Bieber. The pleasantries didn’t last long, as Bieber reportedly instigated a fight which even saw Bloom jump over a sofa in his quest to get his hands on the cheeky canuck.
