Missing Dutch teenagers found in Portugal

FEMKE Lucas and San Bruijs, the two Dutch 16-year-olds who went missing on Tuesday, November 15, after arriving at Malaga airport on a flight from Eindhoven, were found alive and well in southern Portugal at around 4pm on Saturday, November 19.

The girls were tracked down to Albufeira on the Algarve, almost 500 km away from the Costa del Sol’s capital, after police extended their search.

Their parents arrived to Spain on Thursday and presented themselves at a Malaga police station, and they have now travelled to Portugal to be reunited with their children.

They had been active on social networks since the girls disappeared, and their work paid off after a tip-off helped police locate missing pair.
