MALLORCA residents should be aware that a fantastic endeavour to help women who have undergone mastectomies will take place on Wednesday November 16.
The team from Cancer Support Mallorca will be holding a lesson for all those who want to learn to knit Knitted Knockers (the hand-made, free prosthesis they are giving to women who have undergone mastectomies).
They are looking for as many volunteers as possible and would greatly appreciate any support!
The lessons take place at their drop-in centre on Calle Iluna 3, Portals on November 16 at 10am.
Visit them online at www.cancersupportmallorca.com or give this brilliant team a call on (+34) 722 186 889 to find out more.

So pleased that Knitted Knockers Spain were able to help you set up this group. Do hope that the knitters in Mallorca take up the challenge of learning to knit on 4 needles. Good Luck.
