Working to win the battle against cancer

DOCTORS and health professionals gathered at Marbella’s Hospital Ceram on Thursday (October 27) for the 7th International Cancer Forum Marbella. The conference focused on an integrative therapy concept aimed to widen current therapy concepts in the fight against cancer. The evening included various speeches, the first by the head of a German laboratory, Jörn Steiger, who spoke of promising advances in immune therapy and a cancer vaccine currently included in trials on different types of cancer. Pyschotherapist and nutritionist Anna Lourenkova described the importance of motivation and correct nutrition for the well-being of cancer patients.
