Four local young ladies.
THE annual Fair and Fiesta in San Pedro de Alcantara which runs until October 23 was officially opened by the Mayor of Marbella José Bernal and the Deputy Mayor of San Pedro Rafael Piña on Monday October 17 with the main celebrations taking place in the huge new fairground area below the Boulevard San Pedro which was first used last year.
Traditionally, it always rains during this fair but the first few days have been dry although last year, the fair had to be evacuated because of the deluge and was then extended for a few days in order to allow those who had stalls and rides to recoup their expenses.
Many of the local girls followed tradition by dressing in newly purchased dresses which simply adds to the fun of the event
