SEPRONA assesses build up of waste

ACCUMULATED RUBBISH: Unsightly and a fire risk.

THE Popular Party (PP) of Almoradi has denounced the existence of a large waste dump in the village of Heredades.

Echoing complaints from residents, the PP noted there is an accumulation of rubbish on the rural road that runs parallel to the CV-91 towards Daya Nueva.

Councillor Miguel Gascon said there is a mountain of materials from the construction industry and domestic waste, piling up on the verges that has been increasing in recent weeks. He noted there are toilets and sinks “mixed with weeds and it gives a deplorable image.”

An official complaint has been presented to the government team by a resident who said “it prevents access to farms and acts as a fire risk.”

SEPRONA, the Nature Protection Branch of the Guardia Civil, has also visited the site.
