UNDER CONSTRUCTION: New bypass road.
WORK has started on the next link of the road to bypass Fuengirola town centre.
The new stretch when finished, will run from Avenida Salinas where it meets the KM 212 motorway exit on the A7, to the Fuengirola to Mijas village road, the A367, just above Lidl supermarket and opposite the site for the new Aldi supermarket.
Once completed, along with the two dual carriageway sections already in use, Camino de Campanales, and Avenida de Maria Zambrano, traffic will be able to go from Los Boliches on the east side of Fuengirola, through to the Las Lagunas area of Mijas Costa, and all the way to the Fuengirola to Coin road, the MA 7053 (Camino Viejo de Coin), without having to enter Fuengirola centre.
