HUERCAL-OVERA Council has announced it will be holding its third Wine Day on Sunday, September 18, from 11am onwards in the Urcal district.
The event, the first two editions of which proved very popular, includes a crushing competition which will see children and adults compete to see how much grape juice they can stamp out in a limited amount of time.
Prizes will be given out to the winning pair in each category, Districts and Rural Development Councillor, Emilio Perez, explained.
Boots, grapes, and all the other necessary items required to complete the task will be provided by the council.
The day will also include wine tastings and talks from experts on local wines.
It’s sure to be a fun day.
