NOT SO YOUNG NOW: Andrea Corr.

WINSOME Irish quartet The Corrs wowed the crowd as they belted out a succession of their schmaltzy hits, including ‘Give Me A Reason,’ ‘What Can I Do’ and ‘So Young,’ during a triumphant gig in Marbella.

The supremely inoffensive tunesmiths, who continue to keep it in the family after more than two decades of foisting their cute-and-catchy, folk-infused pop on their adoring fans, also played a selection of numbers from latest album ‘White Light’ which was released recently after the group reformed in 2014 following the death of their father.

During the concert, they revealed that they “love” coming to Spain, describing Marbella as “a beautiful, magical place.”

Jim Corr and his three sisters, the ever-blushing vocalist Andrea, drummer Caroline and violinist Sharon, have sold more than 30 million records since their 1995 debut, becoming the best-selling European band of the 1990s.
