THE Home Office Minister Sarah Newton has announced that zombie knives, inspired by recent zombie films and TV programmes like The Walking Dead are to be banned in the United Kingdom.
These large curved bladed knives were originally produced as collector’s items for display but it appears that they are being used as weapons and one person has already been killed with one of these knives.
The new law which bans the sale, manufacture, rental or importation of zombie knives comes into effect on Thursday August 18 and any person caught breaking the law could face up to four years in prison.
