Exhibit on in the gardens

ALMUÑECAR sculptor Toni Quiros is staging an exhibition in the Jardines del Palacete La Najarra de Almuñecar until Wednesday August 31. The exhibition is titled ‘From the static movement.’ 

The name comes from the effect of curved lines contracting and twisting upon themselves, giving the illusion of movement. 

Quiros, who was educated in Motril and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada, described exhibiting in the Jardines as a privilege. He described his art style as an “obsession to reflect the concept of female beauty not like a classical object imitating the reality of the model, but taking just the conceptual essence and transforming it into a three dimensional object.”
