Mikaela Kellner
IN a scene straight out of Baywatch an off-duty Swedish police officer tackled and apprehended a suspect while wearing her bikini, in a fantastical moment unsurprisingly setting social media channels alight with appreciation.
A homeless man selling newspapers picked the wrong women to mess with when he approached Mikaela Kellner and her three friends who were sunbathing in a Stockholm park on Wednesday.
After he scuttled off to find another target one of her friends realised that her phone had been stolen so Kellner and her fellow officer gave chase, rugby tackling the man to the ground, while one companion naturally had the wherewithal to capture the incident on camera.
Kellner uploaded the photo to her instagram account with the caption “My first intervention while wearing a bikini during my 11 years as a police officer,” to widespread international acclaim.
“If I had been naked I would have intervened as well”, she couldn’t resist adding.
