AN OFFICIAL announcement has advised that a coach traveling from Algeciras to Madrid has crashed into a stationary tow truck, killing two people and injuring at least 45 others.
The Interior Ministry says the accident happened in the early hours of Sunday June 5 when the coach ran into the truck near Montoro, and that it was not displaying any warning signs.
It is believed that the drivers of the coach and the truck have been killed and four of those injured in the crash are in serious condition, with most of the passengers taken to the Reina Sofia hospital in the nearby city of Cordoba.
