Andy Murray congratulates Novak Djokovic

ANDY Murray playing in his first French Open final started brightly on June 5, breaking to Djokovic serve and cruising to a first set victory of 6-3.

Unfortunately, despite his improvement on clay courts, he wasn’t to triumph on this occasion as Djokovic just swept away any cobwebs and proceeded to take the next three sets 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 although Murray rally in the fourth set to break back but all to no avail.

Now Djokovic, winning his first ever French Open has become the first male since Rod Laver to hold titles in each of the four Grand Slams consecutively.
