WILDFIRE: Fire service brought the fire under control quickly.
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a wildfire which broke out on Tuesday morning (May 31) at 10.30am. The fire was located at the bottom of Mojacar Pueblo opposite the Camping El Quinto site in a large field and spread rapidly due to a strong breeze.
A team from the Levante fire service in Turre attended the scene and the fire was dealt with and brought under control quickly. Approximately 10,000 square metres of land was damaged.
