GUILTY: Mayka Kukucova was found guilty of murdering ex-boyfriend Andrew Bush.
THE Slovakian model convicted of killing British jeweller Andrew Bush has been sentenced to 15 years in prison by a Malaga judge.
Mayka Kukucova, 26, also received an additional six months for breaking into his home prior to shooting him three times on April 5, 2014.
Although she testified that she never intended to harm her ex-boyfriend, a jury found her guilty of homicide on Friday May 27.
Judge Ernesto Carlos Manzano also instructed Kukucova to pay €160,000 compensation to Mr Bush’s 21-year-old daughter Ellie, and €40,000 to his sister Rachel.
She has already spent two years in Alhaurin de la Torre prison awaiting trial, and this will be deducted from her sentence.
The jury concluded that Kukucova killed the British businessman after being consumed by jealousy when he arrived to his Estepona villa with his new Russian girlfriend Maria Korotaeva, then aged just 20.
She is now expected to appeal the sentence.
