AN EasyJet flight from Glasgow to Palma had to be redirected to Toulouse, France, on Saturday evening (May 21) “due to the disruptive behaviour of a group of passengers,” the airline has reported.
Although flight EZY6895 continued on to Mallorca after the group was escorted off the aircraft by French police, the incident meant the return flight to Glasgow had to be delayed overnight to avoid exceeding legal operating hours.
EasyJet apologised for the inconvenience and explained that delayed passengers due to return to Glasgow had been provided with accommodation and meals.
