Costa del Sol’s hearing aid experts

SHOP: Located centrally, in Fuengirola’s main square.

DICTON is a business specialising in the sales, design and production of hearing aids and batteries since 1963.

Centrally located in Plaza de la Constitucion in Fuengirola, their office has all the facilities to produce, fix, design and fit a hearing aid, and also has a dedicated audiologist, who can provide you with a free hearing test.

Thomas Bo Pedersen is the owner of the company and talks eloquently about the nature of Dicton Spain.

Founded in 1963 by Jorgen Laurberg, it has been a great undertaking to take over the business, maintain its high standards of excellence, and continue to build on its success, particularly one which offers such choice and innovation in its selection of products.

Dicton design and produce their own hearing aids at a price level that is between 30 and 40 per cent below the market prices of the majority of other European countries, earning them the coveted popularity of a business that not only delivers on quality and service, but also on price.

Thomas explains that Dicton are experts in internal hearing aids and, as well as working with all of the international hearing aid brands, they proudly sell and manufacture Dicton’s own-brand external and internal hearing aids, amongst which is the Micro Pearl design, the world’s smallest hearing aid, that is fitted inside the ear.

All of their hearing aids are 100 per cent digital. Other products include high sensibility neck-loops, in which Dicton has been the leading manufacturer for many years; and a range dedicated to accommodate Tinnitus sufferers, who can rest assured that Dicton hearing aids are made with a built-in tinnitus masker, that can be worn even when sleeping.

Dicton has earned itself the reputation of an established and trustworthy expert in its field, and their workshop and office in Fuengirola’s main square is a warm and inviting place where the audiologist can provide you with a free hearing test, and your hearing aid can be fixed right on the premises.

Depending on the damage, they can repair your hearing aid in just a couple of hours, whilst you enjoy a cup of coffee in a cafe nearby.

Dicton is open from Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm and 4pm-7pm, and on Saturday mornings from 10am-2pm. For more information please call them on 952 580 479 or email them at tdicton@gmail.com.
