Ryanair wants the UK to remain the European Union.

RYANAIR have waded into the Brexit debate by offering special cheap flights for expats wishing to fly home and vote in the referendum on Wednesday June 22 and Thursday June 23, the day of the ballot.

Prices start at €19.99, with the special fares designed to help the 1.2 million Brits living abroad have their say, with the airline’s owner, Michael O’Leary a staunch supporter of the EU.

The no-frills specialist is also donating money to the ‘Remain’ campaign, and O’Leary appeared alongside George Osbourne in London on Monday to promote the argument for staying in the  politico-economic alliance.

Kenny Jacobs, Ryanair’s chief Marketing Officer said: “Ryanair is absolutely clear that the UK economy and its future growth prospects are stronger as a member of the European Union than they are outside of the EU and with just 5 weeks to go, we will continue to work hard to help deliver a resounding ‘Remain’ vote on 23rd June.”

Anyone wishing to take advantage of the offer had better be quick, though, as the sale ends at midnight on Thursday May 19.

Another unreliable voice for the remain camp… it was only a couple of years ago when he said that he would urge young entrepreneurs to “get the hell out of Brussels as quickly as you can, or any streak of innovation and intelligence will be beaten out of you.”, yes his words! Now he is repainting some of the airline’s planes with pro-Remain slogans, ahead of the referendum!!! I always thought O’Leary was off his rocker and now I know he is!

Same can be said of “call me Dave” when in Dec 2015, “some 6 months ago” he was telling us that Britain is a strong country that would have no issues with being out of the EU… and now he is telling us there might be wars if we leave! Right, so there could be all these major problems if we leave the EU but he feels he needs to give people the vote with the chance that there could be economic collapse and wars in Europe… really, is he really that confused and irresponsible an PM?

Churchill’s grandson Nicholas Soames was telling John Gaunt that TTip was a great thing that we should remain in the EU for, when JG asked him what TTip was about he couldn’t bring the interview to a close quick enough without even attempting to try and explain what he obviously didn’t seem to know, the truth is that NS business connection makes £3 Billion a year from EU business… go figure 😉

Self gain “not the general publics gain” is the answer 😉
