IRISH no-frills specialists Ryanair will increase their presence in Malaga by 43 per cent this winter.
From late October the company will offer 160 weekly flights, linking the Costa del Sol with 42 international destinations including new routes to Glasgow and Belfast.
Spokesman Jose Espartero said: “We are delighted to present our Malaga calendar for the 2016 winter season, which will allow us to transport four million passengers and maintain around 3,000 jobs at Malaga airport.”
In addition, Espartero confirmed that the low-cost carrier will continue to connect Malaga with major domestic destinations and major European business centres, with daily flights to Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin and London.
“This way we will contribute to converting Malaga into an ideal option for business and pleasure.”
