Barça are not selling Neymar.

SPANISH giants Barcelona FC have insisted that Neymar is to stay with them and that they have no intention of selling him. It has emerged that Paris Saint German were planning a world record bid of £155m for the Brazilian player.

In a move that would mean Neymar is the world’s most expensive player, PSG were reported (according to a French paper L’Equipe) to be considering triggering the 24-year-old’s release clause with the giant bid, although chiefs at Barça have said that no permission will be given to talk to other clubs and President Josep Maria Bartomeu is adamant Neymar will stay at Barça.

Other clubs have also been interested in Neymar, Premier league giants Manchester United were reported to be considering a bid for the star.

But Bartomeu is adamant Neymar isn’t going anywhere and has stated that the former Santos star will not be given permission to talk to other clubs.

Barça President, Bartomeu said: “If someone wants to negotiate with Neymar, we will not give them permission,” he told Globo Esporte.

“Neymar will stay at Barcelona.”

The young Brazilian star, has already scored 27 goals this season and has formed a good team with other Barça players such as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Neymar’s agent has said that the lure of living in Paris might be hard for the Brazilian to turn down.

Neymar has two years remaining on his contract with Barça.
