LIFE-SAVING: Course was run by a local qualified expert.
A GROUP of Mojacar residents enjoyed learning new skills at a basic, life-saving course this week. The course, organised by members of a community forum, included how to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to deal with choking and drowning.
Course instructor, volunteer Beverley Price also showed delegates how to place someone in the recovery position. More courses have been scheduled over the coming weeks and more information can be found on the Facebook page, Mojacar Forum.
Attendees commented on how useful the session was and thanked Price, the organisers and Joe Beach bar for hosting the course.
