Girl Guides announce first ever official Ambassador

AS PART of the on-going support being given by the people of Gibraltar to International Women’s Day, the Minister of Equality and Social Services, Samantha Sacramento was selected by the Girl Guide Association of Gibraltar to become their first ever Ambassador.

She has been known to have been very supportive of the organisation over the years and has met with the senior guides on a number of occasions to discuss amongst other topics gender identity and equality.

In accepting the Ambassador’s badge at the guide headquarters in Gibraltar, Minister Sacramento expressed her delight at being chosen to undertake this special role, particularly as it was announced to coincide with the International Women’s Day celebrations and was in the presence of so many guides.
