MARBELLA and Puerto Banus will feature on a new level for a mobile videogame with more than 20 million downloads. The coastal towns will appear alongside various world capitals as one of the game’s new levels.

Mayor, Jose Bernal, attended the Goya Theatre in Puerto Banus to take part in the presentation for the new level in the videogame – Sky Line Skaters. This level will feature Marbella, the first Spanish city which has been added to this project.

The mayor stressed that the video game has more than 20 million downloads, “this is an extraordinary promotion for the city which will be featured in the new level and for a month will be the first scene that the players can access.”

“It’s a unique opportunity for the city and for this reason we want to give thanks to the business Tactile Entertainment.”

Marbella joins other major world cities like New York, Paris, Chicago, Sydney and Shanghai.

The platform game features a cartoon style skateboarder who, the player can direct around different areas of Casco Antiguo de Marbella and Puerto Banus. The Mayor, accompanied by the Industry Councillor, Javier Porcuna, and by representatives of the videogame, Asbjoern Sonedergaard and Andreas Mihalovits explained features during the demonstration.

The business that develops the initiative has had more than 60 million downloads from their portfolio of video games.
