Investigation launched into alleged assault on Corbyn’s son outside Yorkshire nightclub

Corbyn's son has allegedly been attacked

Jeremy Corbyn’s 22-year-old son has allegedly been head-butted outside a York nightclub. Police have launched an investigation in to the suspected assault after Tommy Corbyn reported to Police the incident which took place at 4am and left him with a cut eye. 

The York university student studies electrical engineering and claims that the attack happened in the early hours outside the Mansion nightclub. 

Tommy, the youngest of the Labour leader’s three sons with ex-wife Claudia Bracchita, is a left-wing activist, following in the footsteps of his father. Corbyn junior had been partying at the nightclub following an earlier charitable party “Party for Palestine’ hip hop event. 

Police stated: “The victim, who suffered a cut to his eye, reported the matter to North Yorkshire Police at 1.26pm on Saturday.

‘Enquiries are on-going to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Nobody has been arrested.”

Tommy has been seen previously supporting his father at the annual Labour party conference.
