Princess Cristina to give evidence in court

PRINCESS CRISTINA is expected to give evidence in court on February 26 as the case against her and her husband Iñaki Urdangarin continues. The elder sister of King Felipe is accused of being an accomplice to her husband in the on-going tax fraud case. 

Urdangarin, a former Olympian, allegedly embezzled funds given to him from regional governments after winning contracts through a not-for-profit company. This money was then held in private accounts in tax havens. 

The trial continues in Mallorca.
