Travelling getting a little easier in Spain

TAKE an easyBus to the airport, an easyJet plane to Barcelona, hire a vehicle through easyCar and then stay at the group’s first easyHotel in Spain, which is planned to open in the city of L’Hospitalet in 2018.

easyHotel chief executive Guy Parsons said when announcing building plans “The strength of the ‘easy’ brand has already driven significant appetite for our hotels from the Spanish market, with Spanish customers currently accounting for 5 per cent of all easyHotel guests.”

Subject to planning permission, the 200 room budget hotel is likely to cost in the region of €15 million.
