THE Cabo Cervera hotel in Torrevieja has been sold for €11.3 million.

The buyer is the Poseidon Benidorm trademark of SLU Devesa Hotels hotel group, which manages six hotels of three and four stars in Benidorm and other parts of the province.

The chain has already renamed its new acquisition and the Cabo Cervera Hotel, which is a three star property, will now be called Hotel Playas de Torrevieja.

The hotel was originally built as an apartment block in the mid-80’s and then refurbished. It is an important property for the city’s tourism offering 186 rooms.

The current management will remain at the hotel for three more years.
