FOOD COURSES: Which last several months or one day workshops.
MAYOR of Estepona Jose Maria Garcia Urbano, pledged the council’s commitment to the Hotel School at a ceremony on January 12, as they prepared to reopen their doors, Thursday January 14.
The restaurant of the Hotel School at the Exhibition and Congress Centre of the town will serve to complete the training of Hostelry students in the kitchen and salon disciplines needed for their course exams.
Estepona Town Hall has given back part of the facilities of the Exhibition centre for the School of Hospitality, which enables Chef Antonio Rojo, to open and run the restaurant where students carry out their practices.
“The City Council is committed to supporting and promoting the hospitality sector by facilitating the training of professionals,” Urbano said, “which is the main engine of local economic activity.”
The Hotel School offers comprehensive courses lasting several months and small workshops of one or more days for foodies, as well as programmes for children who can enjoy cooking workshops designed specifically for them. They also provide organised monographic and master classes by renowned professionals within the sector.
