Extra cost for La Vila road scheme

VILLAJOYOSA Town Council has announced that the project, which includes a new roundabout and a new road linking the N-332 with Avenida Pianista Gonzalo Soriano in the town, will cost more than the initial budget. 

The extra work includes the exhumation of archaeological remains at the site, which will also necessitate the adaptation of the interior of the roundabout. Telephone poles will also need to be relocated.

The council blames the previous administration for not identifying the issues.
