La Zagaleta buys Valderrama to create another luxury urbanisation

THE La Zagaleta Group, owner of the urbanisation of the same name located in Benahavis and considered the most luxurious in Europe, has bought the Valderrama Group in order to create another luxury urbanisation. 

The Valderrama Group is the owner of the golf course of the same name, which was designed by the architect Robert Trent Jones, and is considered the best course in Spain and, according to the ranking of Golf Digest, the best in Europe and one of the 100 best in the entire world.

La Zagaleta will now start its Valderrama 2 Project. 

The plans of the La Zagaleta Group are commence work on the Valderrama 2 Project in the area of Castellar in Cadiz which will include the development of a Championship Golf Course, in addition to a high end tourist and hotel resort. The residential development will be inspired by the philosophy of maximum luxury now developed by La Zagaleta in Benahavis and is expected to cost more than €200 million in the coming 10 years of development.
