Mayor of Adra Manuel Cortes met the town’s oldest woman, Isabel Lidueña, to mark her 103rd birthday.
He was accompanied by two local councillors, the manager of the local care home and the home-care co-ordinators. They presented Isabel with a commemorative plaque, a cake and flowers. The mayor had a chat with Isabel and found her to be in good health and very lucid. She is the longest user of the home-care service which was launched four years ago. The mayor promised to guarantee assistance services for all elderly people in the town.
