IN recent weeks there has been a total of 14 inspections in Benidorm as police began to crack down on illegal gambling. A total of €16,831 and £5,385 was seized during the raids. Laptops, tickets, boxes and accounting documentation were also taken away. Businesses in Elche and Calpe have also been raided as part of the initiative.
