Michael Fassbender.
IRISH movie star Michael Fassbender appears as two all-action characters in a new film based on a very popular video game Assassin’s Creed, being shot at the moment in Almeria.
Showing that he is an actor capable of many characters, and fresh from winning the best actor award from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association for his portrayal of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, he is now playing a medieval Spanish assassin and a 21st century hero who has to access his ancestor’s memories and learn his skills in order to combat the Templars in the modern day.
Having played the anti-hero Magneto from the X Men comic series, this appears to be a natural progression for the actor and some of the film versions of popular video games, such as Prince of Persia and Resident Evil, have seen huge success at the box office.
