Hashish
The Guardia Civil has arrested a 43-year-old man from Arroyo de la Miel with a previous record after catching him with 220 kilos of hashish in a car on the A92N motorway near Granada.
The car was heading for Murcia when it was stopped by officers for a traffic offence, police reported.
However, the officers, seeing how nervous the man appeared, reportedly even having difficulty speaking, decided to search the car and found seven packages of hashish in the boot.
The driver, the only person inside the rented car, was arrested for a crime against public health.
